Beans... It's great to taste different flavors because I've been eating a lot of the same food lately. Ghanaian food just doesn't hit the same as a hamburger. We were very fortunate this week and were able to make mashed potatoes with gravy. It did not disappoint! We were also able to make pancakes with bananas. Yummy!
We've been teaching a lot of new promising people. One of them is Phillip, who was taught by missionaries before almost a year ago. He said that when he was learning with missionaries before he had to leave his house because his uncle didn't like the church. He's a great guy with a lot of great questions.
We are also teaching a guy named Ato Kwame and he knows his stuff. When we talk with him he always ends up bringing it back to some Apocrypha or deep doctrine. He loves reading and we gave him a Book of Mormon, so I think he'll enjoy it.
We started teaching a man named Christopher and he's super cool. He owns a drink shop so we buy Tampico and Soda from him all the time. While we were teaching him it started raining and we were stuck there for almost an hour and a half until we just decided to bike home in the rain.
