On P-Day we went to the beach. That was awesome because it was the first time I saw the ocean since flying in on the plane. It did kinda suck though because the water was warm and the waves were huge. I wanted to jump in so bad. We found our own fun, burying each other in the sand and making sand castles. It was a great first P-Day for Elder Ivins and a great last P-Day for Elder McLean.
In the middle of the week, we had Zone council which means my two sons got to meet each other. It was a great council and we all ate Jollof Rice afterwards. Elder Duncan got a super bad sunburn on his legs so please pray for this man he can barely walk.
Sunday was a normal church day until the end of Sunday school. We had a Baptism for a child of record and right when the service started the rain also started. It was raining so hard we couldn't even hear the people giving talks for the Baptism. The service continued and one of our members Baptized his son in the pouring rain. My companion and I got to be the witnesses. With the 20 seconds we were out there in the rain, I'm pretty sure we were just as wet as the baptist. Everyone got stuck in the Chapel for the next hour because the rain kept coming. We ended up just walking home in the rain, because we were already soaked.
