Trash Bag Missionaries 🗑️

It rained a lot this week. Everywhere is super muddy so we haven't been able to bike much. It was a great week for the work though. We had multi-zone and exchanges too so let's get into it.

On Tuesday we had our multi-zone conference. It was President Sanders' last multi-zone so it was a big bummer, but I learned a lot there. The zones there were Winneba, Swedru, and Kasoa, so I got to see a lot of familiar faces. One of my trainers Elder Okeke is our new AP and my other trainer is a Zone Leader in Swedru so it was awesome seeing both of them there. We all went to the mall after and got some pizza. A great day all around.

On Wednesday it rained the entire day. Elder Ivins and I don't have ponchos so we used trash bags instead. While we were out walking in the rain one guy said, "White Man! What's wrong?" Besides the rain it was a great day for finding and teaching.

On Thursday I got to go on exchange with one of our Zone Leaders, Elder Kabba. He's from Sierra Leone and a great missionary. We had a super fun day and I learned a lot of new things from his teaching.

The rest of the week was just finding and grinding as Elder McNeil would say. I've been loving the area and we hope to put some of our friends on date soon.

Scripture of the Week
Enos 1:1 - "Behold, it came to pass that I, Enos, knowing my father that he was a just man—for he taught me in his language, and also in the nurture and admonition of the Lord—and blessed be the name of my God for it" - Happy Fathers Day 🧔
