The 3 Wise Men 💂‍♂️

Well it's October now so that's crazy, but this week we had transfers, leadership training, and General Conference.

Transfers in our zone went smoothly. We received two new trainees. One is an Elder from the Philippines and the other is a Sister from Mozambique. There is a new Elder called as district leader and they whitewashed one of the areas. I'm excited to see what happens with this next transfer. Everything stayed the same in our companionship and I'm happy about it.

We found out in the middle of the week that we were invited to the new mission leadership training on Friday. We had a great time there with a bunch of Zone and District Leaders. It was a lot of random stuff but we got chicken pot pie and ice cream for lunch. President told us to finish all of the ice cream they bought and my companion ended up eating 4 bowls of it. I couldn't keep up. Everyone went home a few pounds heavier.

General Conference was great. With the time zone difference we could only watch 3 of the sessions but I'll watch the rest later. We went to our member friends, the Lasege's, to watch. Saturday night Sister Lasege (who is pregnant) wasn't feeling very good. The next day we came back and found out that she had given birth. She went into labor right after we left that night. Her husband was calling us the 3 wise men haha. 😆

I hope you all had the chance to watch some of conference. President Nelson gave a great talk about overcoming the world. If you didn't have a chance to watch it live, Go watch it now!

Scripture of the Week
Alma 34:41 - "But that ye have patience, and bear with those afflictions, with a firm hope that ye shall one day rest from all your afflictions."
