Hello everyone, we had a great week here in Breku.

Hello everyone, we had a great week here in Breku.
Transfer Newzzz. This past 6 weeks went by crazy fast and really I'm surprised transfers are already here. As you all know, my companion Elder McLean goes home in early June so we were expecting to receive a new companion. President has blessed us and I will be training again! This is a great area to train in so I'm very excited for the next few transfers. This was a crazy transfer so there's a lot of news for people I know. We are receiving a new Zone Leader, Elder Duncan (My Firstborn son) is coming to my zone, my trainer and father Elder Asante is now becoming a Zone Leader, and many more changes. Overall a great transfer.
Time is going by super fast right now. I can't believe it's time for another email. This week was pretty busy so I'll try to make this quick.
Another week has passed and that means it's time for another email. This week was a pretty normal week in our area. We have been working hard trying to sort out the serious people.
We had a really good week. There hasn't been a ton of success in our area because all of our investigators are sick for some reason. We have been having a lot of fun street contacting lately though...
This week we contacted a bunch of drunk people and all of them came to us. Some of them speak their own language and I kinda just act like I know what they are saying. There's one guy specifically and he was super excited to see us. He knew missionaries before and loves Americans. When we met him he was wearing American flag shorts and a red white and blue Nike shirt. He said his name was Emmanuel Idan. I told him my name is Aidan and he FREAKED out. He was jumping up and down, and I decided to get excited with him. We ended up hugging and then he took us to his house to introduce us to his family. He was a very nice guy and we invited him to come to church.
This week was hot for half and rainy for the other half. It sounds like a good combo but it leads to some crazy humidity. We checked the weather app and one day it was 97% Humidity! We've pretty much been swimming to our appointments. I did finally get a straw hat. You can see it in the picture below. Hopefully it will save my neck from all of the sunburns.
Today we are having a zone activity and we decided to make Fufu. The meat of choice is goat so some of our Elders bought a live goat. They killed it and it's all cooking right now. I have pictures for you to see us preparing the Fufu and of the goat that became our dinner. I also have a picture so you can also see the final product. It was pretty good.
Scripture of the Week
Exodus 32:20 - "And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it" - Moses why??
