Well I actually have some stuff to talk about this week. We did some traveling but the beginning of the week was pretty normal.

Well I actually have some stuff to talk about this week. We did some traveling but the beginning of the week was pretty normal.
Ok so transfers have come and gone. I made it to my new area without too much of a headache. Miss you Elder Duncan. Here's a little run down of my new area and companion...
-The area is Awutu Breku and it is in the Winneba Zone.
-We are in a branch so I'll have a better chance to get to know the members.
-The area also covers two villages nearby which are Akoti and Ojobi.
-There is a Group that is under our branch and it is actually inside an orphanage that is called "Ghana Make A Difference".
-My new companion is Elder McLean and he is from Montana.
-He has 1 transfer left until he goes home, but he's not a dead missionary yet, so don't worry.
The whole area is pretty cool. It's a lot more dense so I won't have to walk 45 minutes to get to different people's houses. There are already a lot of progressing people here so I'm excited for this new area. We also had Stake Conference and we had the chance to hear from our mission President, the Ghana Accra Temple President, and Elder Martinez of the Quorum of the 70.
My emails have been suuuuper boring lately so I'm sorry about that. Something funny that our members were trying to tell us is that foreigners aren't allowed to pee in public here in Ghana (even though everyone else does). They were telling us that we have to go in a bag then bring it back to our apartment. We have also been having a lot of fun contacting drunk people. You can tell them you're from any part of the world and they will believe it. I know one Elder said he was from Mars and the guy didn't even question it.
Scripture of the Week
1 Corinthians 15:55-58 —
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."
